Messages may be delayed, rejected by the sender, or deleted when a mailbox expires. Do not rely on the service for critical tasks.
Service rules
A temporary route with clear boundaries
By using TempRouter, you agree to these terms. They explain the service scope, account responsibilities, permitted and prohibited uses, and the expiry and availability limits inherent to disposable email. Effective date: September 17, 2026.
You must ensure that submitted addresses, received messages, and created aliases comply with applicable laws and third-party rules.
Spam, fraud, attempts to bypass restrictions, or violations of others’ rights may result in immediate suspension.
Service scope and acceptance of terms
TempRouter provides short-lived disposable mailboxes, forwarding aliases managed after login, limited delivery history, and optional two-step verification. The service helps reduce exposure of your everyday email for short-term sign-ups, survey confirmations, and routine verification. It is not a permanent mailbox, backup system, or identity guarantee.
You must have the legal capacity required to enter this agreement in your jurisdiction. If you use the service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind it to these terms. If you disagree, stop accessing and using the service.
Acceptable use policy
We want address separation to help reduce unnecessary email exposure—not conceal harm to others. Automated access must respect published limits and must not affect other users or infrastructure stability.
Allowed uses
- Create short-lived addresses for ordinary surveys, trials, and community verification.
- Assign and manage dedicated forwarding aliases for lawful projects.
- Test routine email delivery to systems you control or are authorized to test.
- Read, copy, and delete your own messages while the mailbox remains active.
Prohibited conduct
- Send spam, phishing, malware, or fraudulent content.
- Impersonate others or violate privacy, intellectual property, or access rights.
- Bypass website bans, bulk-registration controls, rate limits, or security measures.
- Disrupt the service, scan systems, or resell access without permission.
Login accounts and security responsibilities
Long-term forwarding uses an email verification code to sign in. You must ensure that you control the receiving mailbox and protect your login tokens, verification codes, and authenticator keys. Actions performed with valid credentials are treated as account activity. If you notice anything unusual, end the session immediately and contact support.
You are responsible for how your aliases are used. Disable addresses you no longer need promptly and ensure that receiving forwarded content is lawful. We may rate-limit, suspend, or delete accounts involved in clear abuse, unusual traffic, or threats to system security.
| Feature | Service boundary | Your responsibility |
|---|---|---|
| Disposable email | Addresses expire and may be rejected by websites | Do not use for important accounts or permanent recovery |
| Forwarding aliases | Delivery depends on senders and networks | Maintain the receiving mailbox and alias status |
| Delivery history | Retained for up to 30 days | Save anything you need promptly |
| Two-step verification | Depends on an authenticator held by the user | Keep keys secure and maintain recovery access |
Availability, content, and disclaimers
The service is provided as-is and as available. We work to keep it reliable, but do not guarantee that any address will be accepted by third parties, that messages will arrive at a particular time, or that expired or deleted content can be recovered.
Messages are sent by third parties and their content does not represent TempRouter. Treat links and attachments with care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits, data loss, or account loss resulting from reliance on temporary addresses.
Suspension, termination, and changes to these terms
You may stop using a disposable mailbox, or delete aliases and sign out from the dashboard. We may restrict the service for maintenance, security, legal requirements, or violations of these terms. Where practical, we will provide a reasonable explanation, but urgent risks may require immediate action.
Updates to these terms will be posted on this page with a new date; continued use means you accept the updates. For questions about these terms, abuse reports, or account issues, contact support@temprouter.com. These terms and the Privacy Policy together govern the service.
